很紮實的文藝片，還有美好的配樂與攝影，的確還得補上Tilda Swinton具殺傷力的演出，同是還使人浸沉在她散發的古典的氣質中；其他，並不好說，我意思是，看完不一定舒服，但卻教人難忘。除了總是讓人想起《Lady Chatterley’s Lover》的場面外，女主角和《包法利夫人》都有著同樣的一個名字，都背負著女性的深刻困惑。

劇情簡介
義大利米蘭的瑞奇家族靠紡織業致富，在家長的壽宴上，爺爺將企業傳給了兒子坦科雷德和孫子愛德瓦多。坦科雷德的俄國妻子艾瑪酷愛烹飪。在結識了兒子愛德瓦多的廚師朋友安東尼奧之後，艾瑪被安東尼奧高超的烹飪手藝所吸引，情不自禁墜入愛河。在探討商務的晚宴上，一個意外打破了艾瑪苦心枯守的表面平靜，她的靈魂就要破繭而出……

Synopsis
A tragic love story set at the turn of the millennium in Milan. The film follows the fall of the haute bourgeoisie due to the forces of passion and unconditional love.
