我們平日是抱著甚麼態度和目的來進行創作 ? 做創作和平日做習作、做練習，在本質和意義上有分別嗎？

「習作」就是頭腦和身體之間持續不斷的對話。做習作的時候，可以很純粹地就作業的單元題目進行練習、思考、解構、成立、推翻、試驗和延伸。這是一個連續不斷，具自覺性和有意識的創作行為。

[石 頭公社]、[紫羅蘭舞蹈團]，並邀請[拍板視覺藝術團]合作，圍繞 〝習作〞這一方向和主題出發，創作舞蹈小品或與肢體有關的作品，在多個不同空間，以現場舞蹈或舞蹈錄像的形式展示。藉著〝做習作〞，來訓練「知性腦」和 「藝術腦」的和諧合作，全然投入，尋找創作的樂趣和自由。

What is your intention and how is your attitude when creating ? Is there any difference in terms of essence and meaing between doing daily practice exercises and doing creative work ?

“Exercise” is a non-stop, continuous conversation between the body and mind. When we are doing exercise, we could purely foucs o practise, comtemplate, construct and disconstruct, overthrow, test and further expand. This is a continuous, self-motivated and conscious creative behaviour.

Comuna de Pedra, Violet Dance Company, Cut Audio-Visual Association, together base on the subject “Exercise” , using dance and / or dance video as media, to create work concerning body and body movement. By “doing exercises”, we help training our “intellectual brain” and “artistic brain” to work hamoniously; searching for the joy and freedom in creating.
