女移工 ．HERstory

在澳門，印尼女移工在身份上被認定為“外勞”；她們離鄉別井，長期在外工作，面對澳門的花花世界，她們的情感世界是怎樣的呢？長期與丈夫及子女分離，沒有家人感情上的支持，同鄉姊妹間的情誼成為她們在沉悶工作以外的唯一慰藉。新馬路的歌聲和舞蹈，表達出她們離鄉打工的心情。然而，在回歸鄉土後，她們的生活又是怎樣的呢？沒有激蕩人心的大事，只有跟你我一樣淡淡的“各按其時”的生離死別、悲歡離合。“吶喊、歸心、飄泊、寄望、情誼”成就了她們在澳門的“她史”(HERstory)。

導演

何頴賢，香港大學哲學碩士(社會學)，香港浸會大學社會工作碩士(MSW)，現正修讀社會學博士研究課程，現任澳門理工學院社會工作課程講師，主要研究及教學範圍包括性別議題及藥物濫用，自1992年起成為香港新婦女協進會會員，多年來積極關注兩性平權議題。1997年始從事前線社會工作。近年移居澳門，與友人創立澳門拉闊網路協會並積極身體力行將社會行動結合紀錄片媒體，透過錄影紀錄提升社會大眾對弱勢社群的關注。2007年獲澳門文化中心「澳門紀錄新勢力2007」資助執導拍攝首部紀錄片《被遺棄的針筒》並在《澳門國際電影及錄影展2008-澳門製造》獲得最受觀眾歡迎獎。第二部執導的短片《女移工》(HERstory – Jeritan )入選2008年臺灣國際錄影藝術展–《居無定所? 》。

“Jury’s Award” and “Audience Award” of “Macao International Film and Video Festival 2009—Macao Indies”

This is a story of the Indonesian female immigrant who left their homes to work as domestic helpers in Macao, a predominantly Chinese community and a city of casinos and entertainment parlours. While confined by drudgeries to the homes of their employers, they find emotional sustenance in songs and dances shared with their female compatriots at Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro. For many immigrant workers, being separated from their husbands and children for years on end, going home turns out not only to be stories of reunion but also separation. Speaking up, homesick, adrift, hopeful, and sisterhood are all words being part of HERstory.

About the Director

Cecilia Ho was graduated Master of Philosophy (Sociology) in the University of Hong Kong and Master of Social Work (MSW) in the Hong Kong Baptist University. She is now studying in her Ph.D (Sociology) and is also Social Work lecturer in Macao Polytechnic Institute. Her research and teaching are focused on gender equality and drug-related issue and concerns about women in the past 10 years. She is dedicated to the social work since 1997. She is enthusiastic about human rights and social justice documentary promotion. Her first social documentary, “Left Them Behind”, was commissioned by “Local DocuPower 2007” and got the Audience Award. Her 2nd short documentary film, “HERstory – Jeritan”, has been also selected for “2008 Taiwan International Video Art Exhibition – Dwelling Place?”, where was presented a short promotional video.
