澳門回歸前很多葡國文化人住在澳門, 臥虎藏龍。Ivo 及Antonio當年還是小夥子, 前者住在婆仔屋附近, 生了可愛的孩子。澳門是他們成長的重要回憶，所有都呈現在『騎單車的人』裡面。電影透過住在澳門旅館的三輪車夫將澳門異國情懷表露無遺。目前Ivo已是葡國重要的導演, Antonio是位元音樂人, 回葡後繼續他的音樂事業。

曾經,澳門將兩位極有才華的人湊在一起, 將原已色彩繽紛的小城擦得更可愛。

『亞明與澳門』及『騎單車的人』在1997年聯合放映，開了當時中葡導演同台放映的先河。

Before the return of Macau to China, there was quite a number of Portuguese cultural workers residing in Macau. Some, though unknown, were talented. Ivo and Antonio were young men at that time. Ivo lived in the vicinity of the Old Ladies’ Home and had a lovely kid. Macau has been an important memory in their growing up. The film depicts their feelings about this exortic city through a tricyle man who lives in an inn in Macau.

Ivo is a very well-known director now in Portugal. Antonio is a musician and after returning to his home town, he carries on with his music career. Macau has brought two extremely talented men together and their work makes this colourful city more adorable.

Ah Ming’s Macau and the Bicycle Man were jointly shown in 1997 marking the first joint appearance of movies made by Chinese and Portuguese directors.
